I purchased this fridge videocon vap 233; 230 l. Only because my father wanted a red colored one. It consumes huge amounts of power; on the fridge it says 671 units per year. This is a big draw back. Are you listening mr. Dhoot? One more reason why i purchased this is because it is swadeshi stuff ( I am into this swadeshi thing. I avoid purchasing foreign brands..now i intend to change my mind set) I am not satisfied with its power consumption.
Is videocon not able to manufacture fridge which consumes less power in the same price range. One good thing is its got a ice tray and ice cubes can be stored for ready use. Apart from this everything is ordinary; even the grills used inside the fridge is of very ordinary quality. Fridge emits lot of heat and I sometimes wonder whether fridge is going to burst. Thank fully there is sticker saying; heat emission is normal. However, not happy with power consumption part.
Why does this fridge consume so much of electricity? I don’t suggest this fridge to anyone.
