I bought a Videocon Window AC VW-H5222B from Next Retail India Ltd located in the StarCity Mall, Mayur Vihar, Delhi on the 19th of July. The installation was done on the same day but after a few minutes of running it started making a very loud noise. My other AC is a Whirlpool and comparing the two, the noise was pretty loud.
I made a complaint on the 22nd of July and was assured service within 24 hrs. Till today, no technician has come to visit my place. I call up Next Shop every day and each time they assure me that the complaint will be attended to within 24 hrs but till today nothing has happened. My sincere advice:- Go for a MNC brand like LG, Samsung, Voltas but never for the so-called "Indian Multinational".
Do you hear me Mr. Shah Rukh Khan? It’s better if you endorse products that have better service rather than the ones who offers a more lucrative ad package.
