I bought a Voltas 1.5 tom window AC from Linking Road Khar West Mumbai outlet. Installation charges Rs 199 as per Voltas. Additional work as per evaluation.
Space was already fitted with Samsung AC and Minor adjustment was required(No 2 AC has exact dimension). Vijay Sales(carpenter sent by them or Voltas, not sure) Charged Rs200 per inch as wood cutting charges summing to additional Rs700/-(You cannot make out with naked eye what extra was done)
As per Sales Manager, the charges are predefined and nothing extra has been charged.
Just wondering, if they get a contract for installing 10 new AC with no prefitments, there installation charges will be in few crores(I guess).
Friends be aware of such cheap tactics. Just wanted to make you aware.

PS. Don’t know on the questionnaire below for rating salary etc. But believe if they are not generous, they are not.
