We went to purchase an Air-Conditioner at Vijay Sales last sunday and got a price for Sharp Split AC with Eco Inverter (Model AHXP13LV). Very good product, but the price they were offerring was Rs. 34, 000/- so me and my family went to Croma. Croma offered us a price of 32450 on the same product, so I called the Vijay Sales person to see if he had a better price. He asked me to come quickly and he would give best price. We hurried back paying 90 Rs in Taxi and reached there. He offered the price of Rs. 32000/- But when we went for payment, he said that there was a mistake by the sales person and the price is Rs. 33000/-. After a lot of argument they made us pay Rs. 32500/-/
We paid a taxi fare of Rs. 90 and came running to pay Rs. 32500/- instead of Rs. 32450/- (What a bummer). Besides this..... The sales person Prabhakar was informed by us that our grill is fixed and we can only have the AC fixed from outside. He assured that the AC company (Sharp) will definitely install AC using a cage from outside. But when the installation guy came over the next day, he refused to install from outside and said that total installation will be Rs. 12000+.
We were shocked and decided that we will fix the grill issue first then purchase. So we cancelled and asked for a refund. The refunded amount is yet to come back in our Credit Card.
