We have a been customers of Vijay Sales for nearly past 25 years and must have purchased items worth many lakhs of Rupees in the past.But, I Suppose, all things & empires decay with growth and time.
Vijay Sales have become opposite of what they used to be once upon a time.We purchased a Samsung 32" LED TV 1 year ago.The TV remote stopped working, And we lodged a complaint on 29th April 2014.
The Samsung guy came with a new remote, in next 3-4 days, checked the old remote and agreed to replace the Remote. The Serial No. on theTV also matched.
Now the catch.The Serial No. of the TV on the Bill was typographical error( only last3 digitis and Samsung guy said he could not give the replacement as the serial no was not matching on the Bill with records though the Serail No. onTV was same.)Vijay Sales agreed it was a mistake and agreed to give duplicate Bill with correct Serial No. of TV.
After many visits to their Mahim Showroom, they did not give new Bill giving many lame excuses. While Samsung people came once again 2 months later to offer new remote but same problem.
Vijay Sales people said they have sent note .emails etc to Samsung, which turned out to be all lies.
Ultimately Guarantee got over on in June and Samsung said’call is closed’ .plz ask Vijay Sales to replace Remote.Vijay Sales changed their story saying, TV Remote is not covered under LED TV Warranty and we will have to pay Rs 850/- for a Remote.( all because of their fault in typing wrong Serial No. on Bill.)
Their sales service people have lost all manners, human courtesy and were very rude when I went to complain making me sit for over 30 minutes while she attended a conference call.
’Dhanashree’ to be specific just shut me up every time I asked her to look into the matter.
It was terribly humiliating and insulting to be spoken in that matter by a stupid sales girl or what ever,
will never buy anything in Vijay Sales ever.
Pride walketh before every fall.
