Vijaya bank is one of the most useless banks I have ever come across.Wanted to lodge a complaint about a failed ATM transaction and called up their helpline no.0804113350.Was told that they do not accept complaints because this helpline wasonly for cancellation of cards!
Tried using theirpublic grievance/suggestions and observations link on their website-these links do not work!
Tried sending a mail to their id grievancecell@vijayabank.co.in- it could not be delivered!
All this despite their headquarter being in the IT capital - Bangalore!
Next day visited the bank branch, only to be told that for writing a complaint, I need to go to their main branch because they do not have any complaint book!
The staff was quite rude and unhelpful though the young manager helped me withdraw cash on an urgent-requirement basis.
Please avoid this bank-that is my sincere advice.
