Yesterday I got a chance to watch new tamil movie "Vikram vedha" starring Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan directed by Pushkar and Gayathri. Its a emotional crime thtiller genre film.
Plot: Story of this film is about a local don Vedha played by Vijay sethupathi and Vikram a police officer played by Madhavan. Vikram is on a mission to eliminate vedha from streets and to quit gang wars across the city. In between somany things happens between them and both are tries to overcome all that. The story is all about it.
Performance: Performances of lead actors are the onlt saving grace of this film. Madhavan and Vijay done their maximum to their roles. Malayalam actor Harish peradi also performed well.
Music.: Other than BGM of vedha all songs and bgm was crap. Slow melody song "yaanji " and folk mood song "taasakku taassakku " both are not good to hear as a music. Both of them dragged the film down.
Cinematography: PS Vinod done the cinematography in this film. He done just okay performance. In action scenes camera would be used little more better.
Overall it is hald baked crime thriller movie which having same cliche story with a crap suspence twist atlast.
