Poor screenplay is the Villian for this movie

I’m from Chennai and I’m not a Mohanlal fan, but still, I went to this movie since it is Mystery/thriller genre and it has our  home town actor Vishal. Government fails to take action when a crime happens, so a common man at the same time a protagonist takes law in his own hand to kill the persons who committed crime. This movie is a debate about the man who takes the law in his own hand is a Villain to the society or Hero?,  That man is none other than our puratchy thalapathy Vishal. There is nothing worst like a human killing another human, It is our Mohanlal’s policy, What happened when these kind of people collide. This is what Villian. The movie has a strong core plot but it fails to impress the audience in the way the movie was executed. Mohanlal’s investigation scenes were not bad, but we were not able to be connected with the movie thoroughly since Mohanlal’s flashback portion and unnecessary songs slow down it,  there was no strong opposition in the movie and there was no exiting cat and mouse game. You can not expect any exiting twist and turns. Vishal started to speak in the last 30 minutes only. The conversation happens between Mohanlal and Vishal at the end was good. I believe it was the savior of the movie. More importance could have been given to Vishal. When 2 stars from different states shares screen space. It would create heavy expectations. The director failed to utilize the opportunity well.  Over all, If you are Mohanlal fan and a hardcore mystery/thriller movie fan, you can watch it for once and I won’t suggest the movie to others,
