Villian is the latest movie of mohanlal directed bu unnikrishnan. When it comes for a movie of mohanlal we expect something variety or thrilling. The first look posters and trailer added much more to that expectation.
In reality the movie is not upto the mark. The storyline is very similiar to the trend of malayalam film industry. The film came with a headline of a thriller. But there is nothing in the film worthy of that title. When I watched the movie I just got a similiar feeling of watching grandmaster, masters and many such movies. The director could have homeworked more for this film so that he can provide much more to the thirst of the fans.
The film is an emotional crime story plotted on a platform of revenge.The story moves on related to the investagion of the crime along with disastrous life of mohanlal as ADGP Mathew.
The songs are also not enjoyable. The only thing which I felt great is the natural and exceptional performance of mohanlal certifying his name as a COMPLETE ACTOR.
In a nutshell the movie is just average.
