I am a working professional and I stay single in a room away from my family. Now, I had got enough utensils for my basic needs and prefer to wash them by my own. For this purpose, I needed a proper good quality dishwasher. Vim being a very old and trusted brand in India over the years, as I had seen my mother using it from my childhood, I preferred taking Vim dishwash liquid. I started using it and it was good on utensils, but there were a few issues with it that I faced:
1- The liquid has a very high caustic soda content as compared to other washing soaps.
2- This caused rashes and dry skin on my hands.
3- At first I thought that this might be due to weather changes.
4- But, those rashes appeared only after washing utensils, that’s when I realized that my skin is sensitive to the contents of the liquid.
5- Another problem is it’s price, which is Rs 20 for a 155ml pouch.
6- This price was atleast 20% higher as compared to same products of other brands.
7- Other brands offer more quantity in same price of the liquid
8- Cleansing action is good, but be careful about your skin while using.
9- It may suit some people’s skin, and for some it may be harmful. So, kindly take following precautions before using it regularly.
Precautions: Perform a small skin test before starting to use the product. Take a small amount of liquid on your palm, spread it and let it stay for say 15 minutes. If you find any rashes or any other effects on your skin, wash your hands thoroughly and clean them.
