Virendra Sehwag is no doubt the most swashbuckling batsmen ever from India, but he leaves no legacy nor something for others to admire. Even his kids will see the old tapes of his father’s body language and will dub him as a traitor cricketer.
If you happen to watch the last ball of the match when India made exit, you can observe Dravid’s face full of steam and dis-appointment and most of the players are so heartless that they watch the huge display board on the field to see how Dravid’s face was. Just closely examine Sehwag’s face he appears smiling from inside and stroking his chin with suspicious and without shame.
Most players like Sachin, Yuvraj, Sehwag, Harbhajan and obvious Ganguly had ganged up to deny Dravid chance to win WC2007, they thought Greg and Dravid will soar in popularity.
I hope Dravid comes up with truth about these players at some point of time may be in the form of a book.
On many occasions, Sehwag interfered in Dravid’s decisions on field and even commentators were embarrassed what to comment on such indecent incidents. It’s like ragging a senior player, but still Dravid took them all in his stride as he is a thorough GENTLEMAN.
Egoists like Sehwag don’t deserve any praise no matter what they achieve. Even now he is ganging up North Indian cricketers against Dhoni. And he got good kick!
