Imagine how those peoples would have been feeling who have lost their single child, who is just married and the sole earner for the family?
What happenes to those who are better than the leaders which are elected in this democracy to save their rights ?
The are not simply looted and devoid of the emotions but even they are devoid to have a share in their sleep. If they don’t want even then the media enters their house. Forget justice......they are played for fun by all...you me media and above all the government.
Some poeples said..the end was more emotional than practical..because Amitabh Bachchan shooted the culprit. According to them he too should have faced the situation and accepted the truth that jsutice can’t be given by law and die without any caretaker to burn your body. No! it was not unrealistic but the only solution shown by the director. Why can’t a good middle class person can shoot or kill some one? how one forgets that all revolutions in this world is brought by a middle class? Why you think that we are always here to bear al the sufferings and no revolt?
Everyone know law is harder to enforce in this country where only stronger and affluent peoples rule. Civil war and such shoot outs can only make this sleeping society realise about the reality and to bring the law back on it’s routine.
Virduddh is a stunning family movie which must be seen by every indian family. It revolves around Vidyadhar patwardhan and his wife and single child Amar who stays in abroad. Their family runs on the income on Amar, becuase both of them are retired old couples. Sumi patwardhan was retired school teacher while Vidyadhar was a retired Air Indian officer. They had a very disturbing neighbour called Ali ( Sanjay Dutt), who had a garage. Earlier there was a stiff between them but slowly slowly they become friends. In fact friends indeed!
One day Amar comes for a holiday back at home with an english girl whom he wanted to marry. The family agrees and they marry. On birthday evening of Amar, Amar is shot down by home minister’s son who had a browl with a girl and has shooted him. Amar wanted to protect the girl but got shooted himself and on his birthday while his family was preparing for his bday bash his body was lyingf on the road ...while his friends were onlookers.
In order to clearly save the home minister’s son the police creates a false story and implicates Amar as a drug paddler and his wife as an associate.
It was not just the loss of life but even loss of pride for the Patwardhan family. Rude police rude media and rude public..his own life was far away from getting justice and pride.
Finally Vidyadhar patwardhan takes his own route to claim the lost pride back.
Viruddh is a movie which is better than Black and Sarkar and it’s a warning bell to the middle class families. I strongly feel that everyone of you should watch it.
As Vidyadhar patwardhan, AB has again eclipsed every actor of this world. He looks like a library of acting in this movie He may be floored with ample of awards for this role. You better watch him yourself.
Sharmila Tagore as his wife and Johns mother was excellent and AB and Sharmila Tagore really looked like husband and wife. She has complimented AB very well.
John The hunk has eroded all ellusions about an actor model. He has been ominous and really superb. He has played the role of the narrator too and I bet that it’s a very good discovery.
Anusha Dandekar as John’s english wife is again amazing. In small role she has shown wide ranges of her skill.
Sanjay Dutt has not big role still he he present in the movie from start to end and leaves a strong mark of himself
rest of the actors were also fine and Amitabh Dayal as minister’s son has played well.
Out n Out this movie clearly looks from the bottom of heart of Mahesh Majrekar and can be called as his best work. The movie is very gripping and very well placed. It has equal amount of comedy as well as tragic and emotional frames, and it ends happily. When you come out of the cinema hall you find yourself in the world of Vidyadhar Patwardhan and wish to meet at least once and say congrats to him.
The movie is without song and really one does not need songs. The movie grips you tight with brilliant performance, story, direction and screenplay. I recommend this one to you. Just watch it as it’s simply brilliant and highly realistic family movie.
