With the Story of the movie being clear to audience before even the movie released, the cinema goers really wanted to see something like Saaransh or any other movie of similar theme ...but if all movies got to be same then what is the need to make copy of them ...so different versions are acceptable so do Viruddh .
The story is not to mention about a Death of the only son of an old couple under Courageous act shown by him and the fight of the Couple to give their child justice .
The Story sounds too similar and nothing special into it but the way it’s being presented makes it a worth watch and more emphasis is given to the bond between the family and proud they feel about their cultural rituals
First half of the movie being beautifully narrated with the family is shown at it’s best and the missing spirit of a family now a days is shown beautifully.
Father and son Relation, Wife and husband (young and old) are shown as they ought to be.
Amitabh Bacchan as usual acts according to the need and as usual good acting by him and people who thinks it’s too much of him now a days can also watch him acting in this movie.
John Abraham cool and obedient son represents how a son can be close to his father and family being in the modern culture.
Sharmila Tagore returns with a bang and natural acting by her and chemistry with Bacchan did well.
Sanjay dutt cool in his role acts well and bring some smile with his comic appearance .
Music of the movie is bit classic. and songs are based on this movie so relaxing music ... Chal Saath is bit sensitive ...
The most important aspect of the movie is that a Family with members of every age can watch this movie altogether and it’s worth watching.
and it is not correct to compare this with movies of old times because they represented the social structure of that time and this movie shows the present days scenario.
Overall a must watch family movie.
