I flew with my wife Pune to Delhi by vistara recently. The staff at check in was reasonably nice and helpful and conversed in Marathi, which was a plus for me.
One problem was they made me take my laptop in check in bag with me. I have placed laptop in another airlines’ check in bag many times without hitch.
Also, on my boarding pass, it was written, meals not included so I carried homemade food. However, they gave free sandwich and cookie and water bottle.
