I’ve been using the Vivo Y20 for about a year now, and here’s my honest experience. I bought it because I needed a budget-friendly phone mainly for calls, social media, and watching videos — not for heavy use. At this price, it’s okay, but it definitely has its limits.
The best part is the battery. It has a 5000mAh battery that easily lasts more than a day with normal usage. I can watch YouTube, use WhatsApp, and listen to music without worrying about charging. However, the charging is a bit slow, even though it says 18W fast charging. It takes over 2 hours to charge from 0 to 100% .
When it comes to performance, it’s good for basic tasks. Apps like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube run fine. But when I tried playing Free Fire or BGMI, the phone started to lag — especially on higher settings. So I wouldn’t recommend it for gamers.
The camera is average. The 13MP main camera takes okay pictures in daylight, but in low light, the quality is poor. The front camera is just fine for selfies and video calls.
The phone looks decent, but the back is made of plastic, so it gets scratched easily.
Overall, if you’re looking for a phone that can handle basic use and has long battery life, Vivo Y20 is a good choice. But if you want to play heavy games or need high performance, better look elsewhere.
