Unsatisfactory service at VLCC

I joined VLCC in Jun 08 for 5KG guaranteed weight loss + 5 tummy tucks (TT) + 5 body firming sessions. Was promised (by Snehal) that the total duration of program will be around 1-1.5 months to achieve promised resultsHad plans for vacation in summer, hence wanted to join from July, but as per advicer, I did join in June and take an informed break for around a month and resumed in July mid.


Was not informed about any terms and conditions at the time of joining, inspite of asking for the same.The information given was misleading as well -- for example, while joining, I was told that each TT sessions would give me 1-2 inch loss in tummy area, while later on I’s told that 1-2 inch loss is only results in a number of TT sessions.


Also that the loss is the sum of three measure of tummy area, which effectively means that the loss in the waist would be around 1/3 of the promised numbers.It’s not correct to mislead customer or give these kind of impressions (and also that the offer is valid only for today etc) and talking to them nicely only until they swipe the card, and than not caring about them.


During the course, On joining my weight was 73 with normal dress, but I was asked to maintain a dress, so I used the changing gown given at VLCC, which was about 0.5 KG more then normal dress, and so my weight was over-written as 73.5 KG with target weight 68.5 KGHowever during the course, their changing room lock was broken and when it used to get lock, they used to get pen, clip etc to open it and it used to take 15 - 30 min time, and because of which I even missed one of my morning meeting at work.


Hence, I stopped using the changing gown/ changing room to save that morning time, and managed with my normal dress, but the effective change to 0.5KG in target weight, of daily weight was not noted down in card. The people said that later they’d take care or the same.There was no constant point of contact, people keep changing and every person has a different point of view about the programs to be given -- for example, one person say that X program will not be given to me because my body retains water, and 2 days later other person suggests to put me in same program, and on asking about the previous suggestion, I’s told that my body doesn’t retain water.


Also, many people say that don’t come for the program during periods, while one person said that I could come even during periods.Similarly, based on availability of machines, they given continuous sessions. Or otherwise they say that the same is harmful for the body.First, they come and ask questions, then give advice, which is misleading/contradicting. So many contradictory things like that were told to me during the course.People whose names I can recall are Parvathi, Dhanlakshmi, Mary + many more people have been talking during this time.


Also, assistances who come to put m/c for the body also give opinion/ comments of food, buying certain more oils etc. May be they get commissions, but I don’t think that they are qualified dietitians to recommend thingsAlso, they don’t by themselves care of taking measurements etc, like when I took a break and came back, they didn’t care to take measurements, until I asked for the same.They keep on pressing people to join new programs, while the existing one itself in not working outPeople will come and take/continue service only if they find it satisfactory, but not by continuously being asked.


I was also told that the program that I am going through is not the right program for me, then why was I sold so??After around 2 months of duration of program, I had requirement of traveling for short durations, And again during periods, there’s a break of around a week. So I started to ask them, that in this kind of scenario, since current sessions are not working out for me, and the only effective sessions were TT, when I saw significant weight loss.


So that I can I be given some effective sessions, so that I reach my target fast and conclude the program? I was told about manual massage sessions, but never given thoseThey just continued with vibrations/combinations (again vibrations) sessions and results were not effective.I did leave a written complaint also during this time, but don’t know if they took care of it.Major weight loss I noticed, only when I went for trekking, did fasting or during TTAlso for short breaks like 2 weeks, they were not making a note of the same in card.


Wanted to speak to the person (Snehal), who actually gave me the programs, but she’s never available. Only once she called after leaving multiple messages for her, when I’s in meeting, and again on trying to contact later, she’s not available.Hence, finally after my recent travel of around 2.5 weeks, before resuming the same sessions, I wanted to talk to the same person to have a good plan to finish up the remaining sessions quickly in 2-3 weeks, as again I’s have travel plans, and then plan to conceive a child.


Hence went to VLCC last evening (10th Jan 7:30PM)However, the same person, was not available. So, Khevna, and Joy Thomos are the two ladies spoke to me.When they got my card for checking my issue, the last reading in the card was wrong (that I was seeing for the first time). I dont know if it was a data entry error or stretegy when they speak to customer.


Even in daily record, it was not signed by me and how can such numbers come, I dont understand. Joy, was very rude. I don’t think that even to college kids one should talk in that tone. What about a senior working professionals!! My husband was with me, and she just asks "who are you?" .. a better phrase could have been "sir, may I have your introduction"I’m not sure that any communication training is required for staff.She didn’t even care to listen to my issue or my intent for the meeting Infact, she told me that they can’t keep on giving me program for months (who wants to come for months at the first place??


Based on last (??) reading, she told me that program is expired.While on joining, I’s not told of any such time conditions.Nor was I given and such things in writing, even though I asked for the same.Khevna was better in talking, but even she told that she lost two clients while talking to meWhat does that mean, am I not client? and is only getting client important, and not keeping the existing client?


And also 0.5 Kg weight because of changing gown issue was not considered for further conversation.She also told me that I’s asking for too many things in my basket.I only want remaining program to be finished in 2-3 weeks time that I have and I’m asking for appropriate sessions for the same, so is it right phrase to be used with clients.If I say that vibration sessions are not working for me, and give me better sessions, and they don’t consider that, what does that mean?


In short, I just want to say that with advertising, I did go to VLCC, but experience was very bad.The resolution, I want is that please give me correct sessions so that remaining about 2 KG weight loss + 2 body firming sessions can get over in 2-3 weeks time.Alternatively give me some services/products, worth that much And please talk to your customers properly.
