Is anyone at Vodafone listening ?

Am so tired of waiting for response from Vodafone officials who keep saying that some will contact you in 48 hours and no ones calls.   Where the manager at the vodafone gallery in Malad at hypercity gives a visiting card as assurance that the matter will be resolved in 24 hours. What good is her visiting card as a assurity.   Can I ask that when a customer complaint that she has been billed for blackberry services and hutch access, the first reaction she gets from customer service is a denial and disbelief.   I was shocked to see on my Hutch bill in August 2007 that I was billed for blackberry services and hutch access when I had not requested for any of such services.


I called up the hutch customer no. and the executive insisted that I activated the same by an email send to them. When I said I had not sent any mails , he kept repeating without an email we won’t activate the services, . When I asked which email id has he received the mail from he said he need to check kept me on hold for 20 mins and finally phone get disconnected.   I call again and this time I talk to the supervisor who promised to get back with 48 hours.   48 hours, 2 working days go without any call back as promised. when I call I am informed by the new executive that it was not a mail but a call by a person name as ashish who had activated the services by calling the helpline no.   I asked him for further information who ashish which no. did he call from , he refused to give the details and again the same old story, the new complaint has been registered and this time again I will get a call back in 48 hours. 48 hours go by no call.


I call back again to ask what happened ? this time I am informed that we received a mail from may fair company which has sent a mail saying that their CEO is travelling overseas and that services should be activated. I was suprised that without verifying the details with the owner of the Hutch number how can they breach and access services without talking to me. Did they verify that was I the CEO of may fair. By the way I have no relationship with such a company and not a CEO.   I am again told another 48 hours. . again no call, no sms, no feedback.   I visit the Hutch gallery at Hypercity, Malad and there the manager comes to sort out the mess and tells me that within 24 hours till matter will be sorted out. I asked her to put that in writing as I was tired of executives buying time and doing nothing about it. By this time believe me I had about 5 complaints registered. She tells me that I can’t put it in writing but I can give you my visiting card as a assurity. What is her visiting card going to do for me ? When I asked her that she got upset and said if that is so then I also can’t help you.   I again waiting thinking matter will be sorted out in 24 hours. I call on the day of the payment due date asking the customer service if the matter is sorted out .. nope no updates except I need to pay the amount. What kind of ridiculous services is that. I informed the executive that I will not make the payment till the time the pending complaints are sorted out.   On 16th September I get a call from Vodafone (switchover) Ms. Uma calls up, promises to reverse the charges that are applied to me and assures me that I will not face this problem again.   I receive my next hutch bill, only to see another month of blackberry services charges for 799 another hutch access charges of 199 and yes I do get a credit of only blackberry services of 799 and I am being charged a late payment fee of Rs. 100.   I again call up and I again register a complaint again a new complaint no.


Again a promise for  a call back within 48 hours.   then another 3-4 days go by no call, I wonder and call back again, this time I am told that I am getting a credit of only 579 which is not explainable by the executive and who once again tells me that this is update I have. And no one will call you back.   I again call up the customer service and request for the reversal of last 2 months bills as due to the mess created by vodafone, I have not been able to use the number. I am denied by the executive and when I register a complaint I am again informed about a call back which has not happened till date.   I have atleast got 6 calls from vodafone asking me to clear the payment of Rs. 1500 of the August 2007 bill. Whenever I state the problem they say ok and hang up. Last guy asked me " Tuh bill tuh pay karo phir koi sunega"   I then wrote to assist@vodafone.com on the 14th and 17th, posted below is the confired auto replies which promises a reply back in 2 working days but no reply has come as yet.   Subject: AUTO REPLY Date: Sun, 14 Oct 2007 19:55:11 +0530 From: "Assist"   Subject: AUTO REPLY Date: Wed, 17 Oct 2007 12:59:37 +0530 From: "Assist" Assist@Vodafone.com   Now I wonder whether is anyone listening to the Customers at Vodafone ?   Is this the way you value the customer by harrassing ?   I wish to understand that anyone can mail vodafone and they will change my plans, my data, how secure are we as customers. I don’t trust you guys anymore.   Sorry to say emails sent last month and this month to mr. rajesh shetty whose email id is put up in the website is also non responsive.   I need answers and I better get them soon. I need a reply back formally in writing, am tired of all the verbal talks that different people give and there is not proof of their words. and please no visiting cards as assurances.   Regards
