I am using a Vodafone prepaid connection since last 5 years. About 2 months back I got an offer from Vodafone to convert it to Post paid. It was suggested that the number will remain same and new post paid sim card will be activated within 24 hours. I accepted the offer and submitted all the required documents as requested.
The Vodafone issued me a Nano simcard even though it was requested to give micro sim card. The simcard was not replaced even after continuous reminder to Vodafone. The customer care is not responsive and careless about the issue. I had to travel outside Mumbai and was not in Network connectivity zone for a month. But, my family members were continuously following up Vodafone on this issue without success.
I recently back to Mumbai. After visiting Vodafone store in Oshiwara, Andheri(W) more than 3 times. They issued me a Micro simcard and told me it will be activated within 24 hours.
The simcard was not activated even after 24 hours. And when checked with customer care it is found that the SAME NUMBER SIMCARD IS ISSUED TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THE SAME NUMBER UNACTIVE SIM CARD.
THIS IS HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR. All my business and bank related messages are connected with this number. There are chances of misuse of my key personal details to an unknown person who is using the same mobile number. NOW, I AM GOING THROUGH DEEP MENTAL STRESS and HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I MAY HAVE TO SUFFER.
