The connection closure request is carelessly handled by the Vodafone Customer Care. They did not close the connection but try to retain your connection by keeping in suspension and finally we need to bear the payment after 3 months.
I have 2 vodafone connection and decided to close one of them. The closed connection number is 9962225743. I raised the request on May 8th after paying all dues suggested by the customer care. But connection was kept on suspension and I was getting retention calls. I told them to close it. No calls after that I thought the connection was closed.
But after 3months I got a message to pay Rs.206 for the number. I escalated to nodal officer. But no one cared. They are all totally careless and barbaric. In few days they suspended my second connection and blackmail me to pay the dues for the other connection.
So learn from this. Never ever have more than one connection with Vodafone for the same person. One day if you have any billing problem you wont have the choice to take a decision. No chance to appeal. Blackmailed to pay the amount they want. Total careless and rude behavior of Vodafone and very barbaric.
