Stop fleecing us

On 2nd September 2012, Rs 150 was wrongfully deducted from my main account for activating TV channel pack from vodaphone mobile. I immediately contacted customer care at the agent expressed his inability to do anything in this regard and guided me to visit their store.


When I visited the store at gurukul, Ahmedabad  , the agent bluntly told me that it is not possible to refund the amount  and that the fault is at my end. His argument was if the system is faulty then I should not be the only person coming with this sort of complain.


I challenged him and asked if I was the only one coming with the complain of this nature. If this is so he should give it in writing. He could not give that either. He is not ready to admit that the system can make mistake although there have been several instances and I am damn sure I am only one coming with


this kind of problem.


When I said I am not satisfied by your response, he said he is not there to satisfy me. He said you can put forth any argument, you can come here ten times, but I will give you the same answer.All I could understand from this experience was that the company is least bothered about customer satisfaction. I gave the example that in my dealings with my bank there has never been a single instance where a single rupee or even a paisa was wrongfully deducted. Can Vodafone claim such high standards of integrity, is questionable.  Vodafone should aspire to achieve this level of transparency and honestly and stop fleecing us of our hard earned money.


Can Vodafone give me the assurance that I would not be charged for the service I do not intend to use.
