I recently moved out of chennai and I was using vodafone Sim. I had asked the vodafone customer care many a times to disconnect my connection.
They informed that my sim connection is discontinued.However, I received an email after three months that I need to settle a balance of 832.To my shock, when I asked them to disconnect, my postpaid balance was zero. When asked again, they told me that my sim card was never discontinued.I have now blocked my simcard, not sure if they will come up with another story next time.
