They dont not really have good network coverage, most of times line will be busy. If you see all Vodafone addeds in 99% of their ads they talk about Customer Care but honestly its really sucks. Ill give a incidence what happened with me I took a vodafone post paid connection this was an corporate plan for WIPRO employees.
Initially they have provided 500 credit limit and supposed to increase when I reach it. One day I got a message like I have reached 90% of my limit. I went to their website and made the payment of more than billed amount. according to customer care it will take around 24 hours to update in their database. Mean while they have bared my outgoing facility. I asked customer care to help me in this issue and I asked them to resume the service, I was giving them transaction id and I said if you dont get it till tomorrow Ill make the cash payment also but very politely they said sorry its policy.
I really dont understand the use of net banking for them instead they should ask to make cash payment only. And tell me guys why should I made the advance payment. This advance payment should prerequisite for it. They did all this processes in day but cant help their customer. Vodafone is just a big mouth. They really dont want to facilitate customer.
Some of my known persons using it and the call rate was cheaper than Airtel so went for it and made a really big mistake. Changing your number frequently in corporate world is not really good. I dont understand how to deal with Vodafone now. I was a airtel customer and really happy with them I just tried Vodafone and this what happened with me.

Dear, I have a post-paid connection with Vodafone my number is 9XXXXXX and want to surrender this number. Reason: Today I got a message that I have reached my 90% of credit limit. You guys have bared my outgoing facility today itself. I have made the payment through net banking(Transition XXXXXXXX) today and according to customer care it will take 24hours to get updated in your database. You guys cant even wait for a day. Then net baking is totally useless, I dont understand why do have this to facilitate customer or create inconvenience to them? You should not have this facility when you do expect only case payments. Clearly you must mentioned this while taking the connection. Its only Vodafone who has this special facility for customers to create troubles for them. Every time shall make advance payment to avoid this? and customer care will simply say sorry its policy rather than helping. If you guys cant wait for a day why should we? I have made a mistake to take your connection and because of you again of I will have to change my number. By this you are forcing me to change it. If this is the starting of a relation I cant even imagine what will you do after some time. I guess, its better to pay extra amount rather than having such a great facility of Vodafone, people should know this incidence. I am sorry to trouble you guys but please help me to cancel this number. This is the last time I had any relation with Vodafone. Ill not come to you again.
