Hi folks. Let’s talk about cell-phone services... what ? U don’t even want to talk about that ? I know ..I know. Let me post 1 question first - any person totally satisfied ( even modestly satified would do ) with a mobile conection in Delhi ? plz respond if u are the lucky pal.
Which service I’m subscribed to? It’s Hutch. Ya they follow me wherever I go is OK. But then I wish I don’t get those ghost bills....and wait I don’t even get my bills for last 4 months. Network and talk clarity are the reasons why I’ve taken Hutch connection. Deteriorated but still the best in Delhi I would say.
I tried to send SMS to my mom in Kolkata for 2 days. It was giving send failed right away. I kept on trying. Contacted customer support to verify the message settings were correct. On the 3-rd day the SMSes started flowing. 7 days later when I enquired my bill - it was showing around Rs.400 more than it should have been.
The issue is on debate till date ( 3 months ) and I have’nt got the waiver yet. I get fictitious response everytime I contact cutomer service. In most conversational and logical experience - the staff told me - They do not guarantee any SMS delivery to BSNL Kolkata as they do not have a tie up. I said fine - u don’t have to - but atleast don’t charge for those unsent SMSes. She explained once a SMS is uploaded in network server it is the automated process which generates the billing. I said wow!!? Written e-mails to billing - no response - most of the time the CCEs put me on hold - nice music man! But became very known tracks to me.
Switch to Airtel? Did’nt have a good experience with their prepaid too. Tried MTNL Trump even - poor conectivity and voice quality. But atleast they don’t cheat.
So... I still enjoy the company of my cell service provider... no wonder ’it’s beautiful world !’- poor Delhites - we don’t even have a decent choice!!
