Probably the worst mobile service provider

I made complaint to Hutch but no reply. Then the famous hutch Gundas call up on numbers that you frequently call and pretend to be your friend to get your new number to collect the bill for services they never provide.


Here are some of the points:




  1. Hutch is aggressively selling new connections when its existing infrastructure is inadequate to support existing customers. I have examples:




  2. a. Many times in the evenings and on weekends one cannot make calls after repeated attempts, a "network busy" message is displayed. This is not acceptable




  3. b. After a call is connected, the voice quality is most often very very poor.




  4. c. In my house near the Whitefield industrial area of Bangalore, there is no signal




  5. d. Calls many times get disconnected the moment they get connected but the customer pays whole 1 rupee for a minute




  6. Hutch customer service is of the worst quality






2.a. Hutch repeated asks for paying bill without resolving issues with incorrect bill


2.b. Hutch charges me for services that it never provides.


2.c. On complaint about bandwidth, Hutch customer care executive (the lady who works in ITPL shop) asked me if I had asked Hutch at the time of taking the connection if they had enough bandwidth to support my connection!




  1. d. Their bandwidth is so bad, you can’t even talk to their support.




On these grounds, HUTCH should be disallowed giving new connections until they prove that they have the bandwidth offer perfect voice quality and connections. Hutch is doing ethics and rules violation.


Hutch exploits you. Go for it if you’re looking for pain.
