I got a Vodafone number six months back when I was in Mumbai. Vodafone has one of the best network in India, you can go almost anywhere including hill stations and beaches and rural areas with good network. But they have very expensive data packs. The customer service is also good and calling rates can be reduced with the help of rate cutters. Vodafone is definitely better than its competitors like Idea and Airtel.
