The service of Hutch is degrading day by day in the city it seems, and perhaps the troubles are more with a postpaid subscriber.
They introduced the sms bill payment facility where an sms may get the amount cleared from the bank. Although bank confirms the clearance , the accounts department in hutch never receives the amount.
The very next day they call up to confirm that they have received the payment and by midnight they suddenly disconnect the service.
The service can be availed back the next day only after talking to the customer services, but alas!!! it stays for 2 days only as they renew their claim that they are yet to receive the payment. But their official service provider billdesk.com confirms by email that hutch has received the payment. The drama goes on for 10 days.
The grieving customer , whan distressed at the middle of the nite connects to the helpline, often the voice is not very congenial, rather harsh.
Bills always show an inflated figure. The detailed billing may not help, as we just cannot keep track of the duration of all the numerous calls I made over a whole month.
On top of that, they suddenly disconnect the STD promotional offers, which I could come to know only at the end of the month after receiving the bill. When I called up to say why they disconnected my service without my consent, they argue back. It was me who commanded them to take away the rebate due from my std call services!

Pity, we have few proofs lying in our hands to substantiate the cases in a court.
