How Vodafone harasses the customer

I am a vodafone post paid connection user and I had 3g 1 GB data plan activated on my number. My Numbers billing cycle is 19th of every month and I have never even consumed 1 Gb data from the time data plan is activated on my number. On 24th June I got a call from the Vodafone agent  that I have consumed 80 percent of data allowed. I told him it cant be true can u check again because I cannot consume the entire data in approx four days. Then the agent said there system are getting updated you call us after 9:00 am and asked me to continue to use data. After that I kept getting messages that I have consumed 200 300 400 and finally 800 Mb data above allowed on my data plan. When I checked on their*111#5 it said I have consumed zero data above allowed on my data plan. Finally at 2 I got a call from the cst service agent to make a payment as if used this much of data. I explained him the situation he said I have to make the payment I said I havnt used that much data, he transferred the call to the supervisor. I explained the entire situation again, supervisor called me a lier and asked me to make payment and interrupted me through out. When I said I am going to get this number cancelled, because you guys are harassing by continuously making calls and asking for payment, and when u can see my bill is not even generated, then he said then you have to make payment for unbilled amount too, when I said a mintue back you were not even sure of usage how can you ask me to make payment, then he said no he changed the statement. I asked him to cancel the data plan, which he did by saying that I am going to get charged anyway. And same day they barred my outgoing.


And same day later in the afternoon I got a call again from the customer service representative she wanted to know why I have asked to cancel the services, I was narrating the entire story, she hung up on face, never called again. I have already made 3000 rupees payment while my bill has not even generated and I am still getting messages and calls from them to make payment for the unbilled amount and when I ask them what is my usage they have no idea and they hung up. Today on 4th July, I again got a from the Vodafone agent why I have disconnected the 3g connection on my number, while I was narrating the situation agent placed my call on hold without asking and never returned.


I am going to get this number cancelled or probably switch to a better service provider who values their customer or I am  going to get pre paid connection where in at least I am not going to get harassed by calls and get unnecessary charged for the services which I dint even avail. I am also going to file a case against them I don’t care how much it’ll charge me but someone should teach them a lesson they can’t harass consumer like that and cause mental stress to them. I could not sleep for good two days because of the calls and messages that they made to me. Please whoever is  going to read this please never switch to Vodafone post paid you are going to regret big time. First thing I am going to do once my bill is out, I am going to cancel this number or get my number ported on some other network. Because Vodafone sucks! Their Customer service is worst, and most times network is not available either. Pathetic!
