I have a BB basic plan of Rs.299/-. I cannot browse on that, nor can I send MMS. They have charged me for browsing(Rs.446/-)and sending MMS(Rs.129/-). I called the customer care and they were very rude. they said "u wud have browsed and thats y the bill is generated" Similarly with the MMS.
The error message I get is "browsing over the cellular network is not included as part of ur current service plan. to browse the web you must use wi-fi or contact your service provider to change your service plan"
This guy just wouldnt trust me at all, so I asked him to send someone to check my phone.
I volunteered and went to the hypercity Malad vodafone store and got my phone checked. The guys there confirmed that they couldnt browse on my phone nor could they send MMS. the CC guy at hypercity vodafone store confirmed that they will put a request for reversal of charges.
Now I receive an mail from vodafone saying "as per feedback received from billing department regarding Vodafone Live and MMS charges are levied correctly"
It is ridiculous that they charge for service not used. IS ANYONE LISTENING?
