Hutch bangalore

I am using hutch postpaid and I live in bangalore.

I am using hutch since past 3 years and most of my usage is local calls

I am writing my experience in the past 3-4 months. I am just sharing the problems that I and my friends faced and are still facing!!

first of all, the hutch network in bangalore is overloaded..so wherever you go, you ll find call drops, call failures. and worse, even people cannot call us.

the customer support provided by hutch is excellent. but will it solve our problem?

when I call the customer support, I expect solution, not sympathy. but the poor hutch care executives only sympathise and tell us that they are trying their best to improve the situation. it has not happened in 3 months and I dont have any hopes either

first of all, they say that they have increased their n/w coverage by adding 90 new cells. but the same old dialog is getting repeated since feb!!!!

its april and I still dont see any sign of improvement.

Any guy with a commonsense will ask the obvious question for which these hutch guys have no answer.

’’if they have setup new cells why are they not activating them?’’

i have stuck to hutch for 3 years only because I dont want to change my number.

its so difficult to communicate all your friends about your new number. and I feel they are taking this as an advantage to blackmail their customers(thinking they wont quit)

till now I also had another advantage. in terms of monthly cost, hutch tariffs were one of the cheapest. but that situation has changed dramatically..with all the operators providing almost similar tariff that question is also ruled out.

so the only disadvantage is changing of number, but I feel rather than simply paying them the rental for the pathetic service, its better to change the operator.

I have spoken to airtel guys and they have given an offer which is similar to that of hutch. and I need not say about airtel network coverage. so I have decided to switch to airtel. and probably by the time you read this review, I would have changed my number for good.
