Pitiful Service at Vodafone Care, Chembur, Mumbai

In the last 24 hours I had the displeasure of visiting Vodafone Care, Chembur, Mumbai three times! Vodafone is supposed to be in international brand but the service I received was absolutely pathetic.


For starters, after waiting in line for an hour and a half the service executive(Hemant) issued a Micro SIM instead of a Nano SIM. On returning to the store that same evening I was told that I would have to wait till Monday then come back to the store and request a Nano SIM.


After asking to speak with the manager(Sandeep) I was made to fill out a form and was issued a Nano SIM card immediately and told it would be activated within 2 hours. However, 16 hours later my number has still not been activated. On visiting the store again manager Sandeep told me that the office that does the verifications closes at 7pm and there was nothing he could do. When I asked why this information was not shared with me the previous day, he simply said that he did not know it would be closed.


In conclusion I ask you this, is this the quality of services I must come to expect in the future? If so I would much rather change to a service provider that actually provides SERVICE. This is absolutely shameful, something that is not expected form a global brand such as Vodafone. I sincerely hope some steps are taken so that other paying customers do not have to go through the same inconvenience.
