This review is about Vodafone 3G connection. The connection can be in form of a 3G SIM that can be inserted in a Mobile phone or a USB Dongle that is used to connect to the laptop.
I use Vodafone 3G SIM in Samsung Note and the network coverage is absolutely great. The reason I am saying this is because I drove from Mumbai to Mysore and I had no clue about the directions on the road and hotels where I am going to stay. I used to use a free navigation feature(that requires internet connectivity) in Samsung Note to find the directions on the road till I reached Mysore.
I also have a USB dongle K3800(3G Vodafone) and it also works great. Be careful when you select the USB dongle for your laptops. This is because there are certain dongles that can give you a max speed of 7MBPS. If you select a 7MBPS dongle then no way you will be getting a 14MBPS speeds.
If you want fast speeds then dons select Reliance 3G as it has less network coverage and the same 3G connections automatically downgrades to 2G. You will be paying for 3G but using 2G. I love Reliance for their CDMA connectivity but not much for 3G connectivity.
Interestingly the 3G in Vodafone is not roaming anywhere. they did not charge me any roaming for Using in Mysore or Kerala or Gujarat. Its awesome.
