I wish to warn those Gullible souls who have fallen for the Full Page Ad of Vodafone in the News Papers today. I am customer of Vodafone from the ’Orange Days’ & though I am happy about the Coverage I have to Pay through the nose for it.
There are more than a dozen Bonus cards of various denominations. I had taken a Bonus card of Rs.53 for one second Billing & found out that it applied to Vodafone to Vodafone calls.
Whilst roaming outside Maharashtra & Goa all my incoming calls were charged at Re.1 & all out going other than local was charged at Rs.1.50 per minute if the call went to 62 secs I was charged Rs.3 instead of 62 PAISE.
I have a Docomo number & they charge 1 paise per sec for all incoming & outgoing calls whilst roaming & that too without any Bonus cards. Even though they claim they are Happy To Help the call to their Helpline at 111 is charged at 50 paise for 3 Minutes.
I am told that it is a TRAI Regulation, GOD KNOWS.I am happy the number portability has started & I have no qualms about changing the Vodafone number to Tata Docomo.
So dear wannabe Vodafone customers please enquire about all the charges before being influenced about the catchy ads & taking the plunge. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP!
