Please be careful if you are using Vodafone as your mobile service provider, they will cheat you and not even acknowledge it. I was using Vodafone blackberry plan in which they asked me to pay internet + BBM charges for 6 months in advance.
After I paid for these services my bill would come approx 500-700 per month. Few months down the line I started receiving a bill of 900-1100 per month. The first two months I did not bother to check my bill as I was too tied up with work pressure. The third month again I received a hefty bill, I decided to check my bill before paying it this time.
Here comes the best part, in spite of me paying internet charges for 6 months in advance Vodafone was charging me 299 PM for Internet facility. When I called them they told me that I activated it, when I cross verified them asking why will I do that when I have already paid for the same services in advance for next 6 months. They refused to take my complaint initially but when I threatened them of changing my service provider that’s when they paid attention to my plight.
They had charged me 299 pm additionally for 3 months without any activation alerts from my end. A classic case of cheating and forgery. I just want to update everyone that PLEASE CHECK YOUR VODAFONE BILL EVERY MONTH before you pay it to avoid any such kind of scam. I have faced the brunt so a word of caution to everyone.
