Trust me people never go and buy a VODAFONE connection. they just show goody goody ads and in actuality are nothing but a sham.
I went and bought a recharge card only to find the customer care telling me that it is not valid for your number. I asked them how will I know as it is not mentioned on my card, they say that you have to call us before buying any recharge card and now they cannot do anything about that. I said how will I know that? Then they hang up the phone*(forward it to some number where it keeps on ringing for 30 seconds and then disconnects)* without resolving my issue. Twice they hung up my phone.
Trust me it is the most pathetic customer care I have ever seen just like the reliance.
On the other hand, Airtel I have personally found to be a little better in customer care, may be because mine is a corporate connection.
I have decided that I will never go and buy a vodafone connection in my entire life and will not advise any of my friends or family members to go for it. A couple of my colleagues have already shifted to Airtel because of the pathetic customer care service of vodafone.
