I’ve been a Vodafone customer ever since it was Hutch and I used to really appreciate the customer services here. I am looking for a new prepaid connection and I chose Vodafone as my service operator. A few days back I was surprised to find a online shopping option to order a new connection on Vodafone website. I could upload all my documents there, fill the CAF and choose my choice of number on the website and make the payment then and there.


The transaction was successful and I received a confirmation sms as well. The confirmation on the website mentioned that the SIM card will be delivered within 24 hours to me. It’s been 3 days already but I’ve not received my SIM card. On contacting the customer care on the telephone helpline, I was asked to visit the Vodafone store and go through the entire procedure again and that it was my mistake that I tried to purchase the SIM card from the website. The customer care executive was rude and unprofessional to talk to.


I also wrote a mail to the customer care, however, have not received any reply to that.


I am highly disappointed over the fact that the Vodafone customer support has degraded from being the best to one of the worst.
