Vodafone Customer Care Sucks

I belong to Jaipur and I came Mumbai in Dec 2009 and I bought a Vodafone connection and submitted documents (license xerox, local electricity bill xerox ) after 2 days my number got activated.


Now they sent me message that your documents are incomplete please submit your documents again..


I went to vodafone store (Bandra west branch) with the same documents but they said that I am outsider so I need to submit a local ID proof and signed by the person on the application form. and after 1 day they stopped services of my number. I went to Vodafone store again (Bandra west branch) with the documents (My license zerox, My uncle (lives in Mumbai) license zerox, a paper signed by my uncle that he has no problem to give me a connection. Then they says that they need original License of my Uncle for verification. Last time when I visited Vodafone Store they did not tell me about this. even the candidate didn’t accept that it was his fault.


Well I went again with the original license of My uncle then they refused to submit documents because they need signature of my uncle on their form for local proof. When last time I visited Vodafone store why they did not tell everything what documents they require.


At last I went with my uncle to Vodafone store and got my connection activated.


My number was deactivated for 9 days because of my office work. I was not getting time to go Vodafone store.


I would recommend vodafone but its customer service is very bad.


Update:- 10-Nov-2010


This time on diwali I went to jaipur. My vodafone no was off from last1.5 months and after reaching jaipur I switched on my Jaipur Vodafone no. But this time I was not able to call and a voice message says "your documents are not according to new govt.  rules please submit your documents otherwise your outgoing service will  be stopped."


So I submitted my documents on 31st October 2010 at Crystal Mall, Bani Park, Jaipur around 5:30 to 6:30pm. After 1 Hour my no was working fine. After 4 days on 4th November I faced the same problem again.


This time I called to customer care regarding this.


He  said that your request is not proceed and he can not do anything and  ask me to go again to Vodafone store and disconnected the call.


I got solved this issue after two days.


So this time also a bad experience :(
