I bought New Polo TDI highline in Mar 2015, (copper orange) and its one year of driving the car and completed first service few weeks back.
After making decision to buy my second car, I was clear that I want to own a Diesel and good engineered car, with in budget of 9 lakhs. I did check all available cars in market at that price bracket. I dropped in VW showroom one day and took test drive of Polo and got impressed with the build quality, finishing, safety features and drive. What strike me most was that, it was the only car to offer 2 standard Air bag from basic variant. I thought that If the company cares for the users safety so much, that they should as well make the car with good quality parts. After testing Polo, I did check other cars, but nothing could come near the benchmark of VW Polo. I decided to buy Highline and the choice of colors was a dilemma to chose, finally settled for Copper Orange and this color gives premium feeling.
After a year of owning the car, I think it is one of my good decision and feel happy for making right choice. The Engineering and build quality is solid and gives the German experience and you always get a feeling that the car is complete and everything is in place.
1.5 TDI Engine is quite power full and acceleration is excellent, does not feel like Diesel engine and the gears handle good speed range between them and the car never complains. Some thing that I enjoy the most is the acceleration and effortless way it can challenge and overtake other cars.
The steering is friendly and engine-gearbox-drive sync is smooth & perfect, its easy to drive and maneuver in traffic. I have driven 9500 kms and the car remains & performs the same, like how it was in day one.The car handles speed of 140-150 km/h with ease and is quite stable. The audio system and the overall controls are good and easy to handle.
The car combines many in one; good engineering, power, safety, comfort and style.
