Perfect car cant be compared to these cars below
tata indica - car as been ages (i.e 10 years) .ex-showroom prices has increased compared to last 10 years (i know this is unfair to tell about price increase(tata tells input prices have gone up) but maruthi gypsy comes in same price as in 10 years back. Ride quality IS OK. Reliable is also question mark.
tata SERVICE is also questionable. diesel engine were their ace say 10 years back but now every manufacturer is bringing or bought a diesel engine now.
suzuki swift (first generation in india) - cheap plastics, rattles and okayish engine.bumpy ride quality.
unquestionable maruthi service has been too good. brakes were replaced for swift diesel as they were
insufficient AND THEY DID NOT RECALL THESE CARS FOR BRAKE REPLACEMENT . WOW
HYUNDAI I10, 120- both cars loaded with features upto the brim compared to other manufacturers.
You guys cannot tell this luxury feature as anybody can buy a 3 lakh rupee car and get any feature like lcd screen, touchscreen navigator, bluetooth , upgraded alloys + branded tyres, stanley seat covers, mod the car in another 2.5 lakh . this adds up to 3lakhs +2.5 lakhs =5.5 lakhs. Here the business is like buy two and get one free. steering rattling issues in i20. hyundai service cost is greater than maruthi.
toyota liva - engine is little underpowered to swift . too many cost cutting issues is easily visible . because of brand the vehicles they released like qualis , world class product corolla , camry. most of the guys who buy these toyota proudct are NRIs(non resident indians) who are settling back in india .
thats how toyota brand got its image in india and toyota india corp think they are newluxury segment leaders in india . anybody will laugh when 1.4d corolla altis is been given around 14 lakhs ex showroom price where as u guys get same product in half the altis brand like tata manza. while chevy cruze is 2 litre 150ps is cheaper than altis comes at 11 lakhs.
ford figo- good product but service is little costlier than swift. ride quality is okay.
if u guys want a hatch who want to travel from point a to point b this is the car for u guys.
polo - people say 1.2 litre petrol and diesel mill are noisy but when u start the engine tappet is set automatically , and dont have to go to the service centre for tappet adjustment and still want the car to be less noisy then get 1.6 litre petrol polo which is near 30, 000 extra than 1.2 petrol mill(highline) ex-showroom price. 15, 000 kms service interval while in swift 5000 kms service. fuel lid cannot be locked from outside , I have seen many people tell this has been issue but when u guys go to a petrol bunk u sit in car and press unlock button to release fuel lid lock and u guys dont have to go outsideto open the fuel lid . this is feature and not a problem.
