I booked POLO 2 months earlier and the dealer from jaipur committed me that he would be able to deliver this car in 1 month. Seemingly very impractical, I booked this car and now its more then 2 months. The dealer, every time I call, says that he will get back to me tomorrow (which ironically never came till now). After waiting for his call, I called him back (point to remember here is that this happened more than 5 times not once) he again gave me the same ans "sir we dont have the confirmation yet we will get it by tomorrow (which again never came till date). Sadly, I was expecting a much better dealer service from a German brand. Looking at the initial experience I am really dicey whether the would be able to give proper servicing or its again gonna be a disaster like ford and chevi. Excluding the wait time, I haven’t experienced much problem till now. Wil update this review when I get the car as I am planning to go on a long trip to test it :)
As promised, I am updating this review after driving the car for almost 2000 k.m. I drove this car in city (delhi, noida) and btw delhi and jaipur. The car awesome with average 10.5 in city driving (including jams @ office time) and 15 on highway (between delhi-jaipur-delhi). I drove this car for almost 12 hrs cont. and the corfort can be judged by my freshness. Its the most comfortable car I have driven till now. However there are some things (small things) like the horn is not good. I would just brief all the points in 2 categories (pros and cons):
PROS 1. Average (10.5, 15) 2. Comfort 3. Pickup
CONS1. Horn is quite tight and not easy to use.. specially when driving in delhi traffic.
