I purchased Volkswagen in May 2010. It is an excellent car with every good feature one would would like to have in his/her car- excellent mileage, best interiors, good exteriors- sort of a dream buy. But it has one sort coming- expensive repairs.
My car was hit by an autoricksaw would fled from the scene. Due to the impact car has some minor damages on the front right hand side. I took it to the Volkswagen workshop in Navi Mumbai and the executive attending the complain suggested that entire parts needs to be replaced and there’s nothing called part repair in Volkswagen- giving an indicative estimate of around Rs 35, 000.
Consider if there is a large scale damage to car they would suggest entire replacement for the car . I think Volkswagen should take step to reduce the cost of parts, which certainly is exorbitant.
