I have purchased a car Vento Petrol Comfort line from The Dealer Global Gallerie Thane , on 19th Jan 2013, After 15 days I found the defects as under.
There is Oil leakage from Gearbox. (Dealer says it is not a Defective and it is the best Designed German Engineering we can repair it).
Engine stops automatically while running.( Dealer says it is not a defect of the car)
Front window switch is not working (Driver side).
Back Seat is not horizontal to the ground (Dealer says it is not a defect)
Door Handle colour is coming out if you touch (The Dealer says it is normally happens we will paint it again as the car is under warranty period so there is no issue)
There is no master control switch near the driver seat to open /close back seat window , I never found this feature in my previous car (previous car was Santro Xing XO), so I found it as abnormal. when I book the car, Sales Man Mr. Rajan shown me the control key in the driver seat but the car delivered to me is not with the said feature.
Now , You may not face this issue but if your fate goes against you then be ready to struggle with your car on spending 9Lac rupees on Vento cars. VW dumping defective cars in India.

Sub- Replacement of Vento _Comfortline Petrol
After many times grievances lunched in complaint number is CAL-34595 in customer care (india) with the given telephone number 1800 102 0909, I have not received any call from Volkswagen India operation. However, I visited Global gallarie Thane , Ghodbunder road Thane , Maharashtra, Global gallery Service department Ms.sweta arranged somehow to have a discussion with Ravindra Hande , Regional Head , Volkswagen India. I have conveyed all the points below.
Car Delivered 19th January 2013, Salesman promised the car of manufacturing year November 2012, but instead of November 2012, the car delivered is of manufacturing January 2012.
The Bar code sticker is missing from the QA while delivering the Car – Not Resolved
Oil Leakage from the engine on 19th Feb 2013.
Body color peeling off 19th Feb 2013

I drive Jetta and Passat in France and I know the quality of the car Volkswagen make which made me to decide to choose the brand. But, with so many problems in Vento product line I am in much mental agony with spending 9.6 million INR I feel driving this car is a high risk to my life and the passengers.
Furthermore, on the discussion with Ravindra Hande, Regional Manager, India Operation said that because there are many parts used in the engine some time some of the mistakes happen. How can VW accepts this kind of statements on the movable mechanism of its product? How VW factory at Pune India tested and passed QA? Where is the Quality certificate of the Engine Number – CLS073845, Chassis Number – WVWA12604CT03085, Batch date Jan 2012, and 1.6, comfort line manual Transmission petrol? Where is the RCA (Root cause Analysis) done on the above mentioned defects in the car? Replacing a part is not a solution of fixing the issue forever. First of all how the defects came up? Defect is there because either it is not thoroughly tested in factory itself. OR it was in stockyard for a long time and tampered and sold on January 2013. These are the two possibilities for which there are so many problems in the car.
For me, as a customer, it is not acceptable to take the manufacturing defect car. So, it has to be replaced OR return my money back with the interest and compensation for the harassment that I have gone through. The issue is to be resolved in weeks’ time.
