I have bought two Voltas inverter ACs. Within the first year, their free service team came and replaced the board saying that the cooling is not enough. Exactly after 12 months, one of the Ac stopped working. The service team came and said I have to pat Rs.12, 000 for replacement of the board for the Ac which costed only 22000/-. After a series of complaints finally they replaced one board. Then after about 15 months the other Ac stopped working. we had been complaining and the team came, they charged us about Rs.600/- and said that the board is to be replaced at Rs.12, 000.00 We had been complaining since then and nothing is done so far. Now the first AC also stopped working. The service team told that the same is there with most of inverter ACs and they are replacing the board with Rs.12, 000 every where. If it is manufacturing defect, why should we bear more than half the price after one yer of usage?
