It’s really a "High Performance" "5 Star" AC, But since it’s an electronic product, it does have some negative points which will help you to understand the good as well as bad features of this product.
I got the AC in very good packaging from snapdeal. However after I called the Voltas technician for the installation(extra cost) to my utter amazement the AC compressor got heated up and did not start. After a lot of technical checks(like capacitor, current, etc.) they found the root cause the external unit’s fan was touching the body and hence was not rotating, because of which the compressor was heated and did not start. Since I had to get the AC started immediately due to summer heat, they had to cut the blade tips(as its made of plastic) to ensure that it does not touch the units body. If this was the case had I bought it from a local dealer it would have been replaced immediately.
