My humble request to all NEVER buy a Voltas (Tata) AC. They have absolutely NO after sales service. Their technicians who come to install are absolutely illiterates. I installed 3 Voltas Window Acs 185 ly deluxe, one in 2015, two in 2017. They worked ok for a while but after a while one by one all the Acs swing motor started making a creaky noise, very disturbing to the ears. The evaporater finns became absolutely clogged and there was very little cooling. After many many complaints to tata voltas service centers and no response from them despite big promises I ended up learning from YouTube videos and cleaning the finns with a toothbrush myself. Gradually their cooling decreased to almost nil. I called UrbanClap engineers to service the acs but the cooling did not improve. Also the swing motor was not available anywhere. Finally I got so fed up that I have left the Voltas acs disconnected and fitted 3 Diakin Split Acs.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY VOLTAS ACS EVER. THOUGH I AM VERY FOND OF FLYING TATAS VISTARA AIRLINES, VOLTAS IS ONE COMPANY THAT TATAS HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO MANAGE. DO CALL ME IF YOU NEED ANY UPDATES.
