I bought, Voltas 1.5 Ton 185CX Split AC on 30.04.2013, being Tata employee, we had offer from voltas and HR circulated it nicely. On 10.10.2016, I observed that, its not cooling. so I refer matter to 2 AC repairing agents and also, was gathering information from friend and my company employees and on net.
Reviews are quite disheartening and eye opening and pathetic. Most of the AC needed repair in less than 2 years and most of people have replaced their AC only because of poor performance. Customer support is bad and worst, they don, t bother only. The AC coil is aluminium make and my technician congrats me that, my AC has performed twice the expected time(2 years). their experience say 2 years for any voltas AC.
I have ended up paying 6500 rs for copper blue fins. very bad product and services from TATA group. Please dont buy any voltas product.
