Dear Voltas Team,
I have to say that I am awfully pissed off by the terrible customer service you have. I have 8 Split ACs in my home, all from Voltas. I made this decision only trusting the brand TATA behind you. I am really sorry to say but you have not only failed my trust but also failed the brand TATA.
One of ACs which I have was purchased around 2 years back and I was never ever asked about any of free service for that.
Now the AC has some problem and when I registered a complain, they said it is going to be a chargeable visit. I was ok with that but the worst part was the behavior of the technician. He gave me time slots for 3 days and never turned up. I understand that plans change and people can get stuck somewhere but at least he could have called and told us the same or at least pick up the call when being called. What right does he has to waste our time like this?
He kept us waiting for 2 whole days and never ever bother to call even once. He would say that he would come at 11 and then he would call around 4PM saying he is coming now. Do you think all the work we have is to wait for your technician to come and repair the AC?
The worst was when he said that "sirf aapka kaam nahi hai humko". I cant imagine that in the service industry you can treat your customer like this?
Just making a good product does or having a big parent brand does not works all the times. You must understand that by such kind of behavior with the customers you might end up loosing the brand value of TATA as well.
For me it does not matters, I am just a consumer, I will move to a product which gives me better service but please help yourself.
