I’ve been using the Voltas AC 1.5 ton for about a year now, and overall it’s been a pretty decent experience. The cooling performance is still strong, it cools down the room very quickly even in the peak of summer. But the noise level has gotten worse over time, sometimes it’s really loud and disturbs my sleep.
The remote control is mostly good, but a few buttons are not working properly anymore, which can be frustrating. Energy consumption is okay, but I did notice a slight increase in my electricity bill after few months.
One thing that still bothers me is the design, it looks really outdated and doesn’t match the modern decor of my room. Also, I’ve had to get it serviced a couple of times because of minor issues, which is a bit inconvenient.
Overall, it’s been reliable but there are definitely some drawbacks that could be improved. If you’re looking for budget-friendly option, it’s not bad, but be prepared for some minor annoyances.
