I would suggest never buy a VOLTAS product. After sale service is pathetic. Engineer have no knowledge about the product. They believe in experimenting. Without touching the unit or even without diagnosing the problem, they are only interested in their visiting charges.Even the customer service call center have worst of staff sitting who have no escalation team to help you out. I would say the worst decision I have ever made in buying this product....
I have bought my A/c in mid 2008, it hardly worked for 3 months and got it PCB rapired for first time, the since June 2009, it has been giving problems every fortnightly. As now its warranty is over, they are least bothered..Company has given contracts to local A/c repairing Vendor in my area. They are only bothered in their visiting charges and will not even touch the unit before you pay them. In 2010, they have repaired the PCB unit and since then cooling has gone down plus the sensor stopped working. And now again my a/c is not working, and I have been complaining almost 4 times daily since past 25 days. No one has visited my place. Finally I have planned to get it repaired of my own. I paid 1000RS to the outside vendor (who is LG engineer) and the problem got fixed now.
Still they haven’t contacted me till date. Shameless staff>
Again: PLEASE NEVER BUY VOLTAS ( assembled a/c and their service is better than VOltas)
