The product was recommended after I gave my requirement to dealer of Voltas. It was installed by ill-trained persons, serviced too by such personals and it never worked as an aircon should. started giving trouble within month of purchase and after six months or so they change indoor units after many many phone calls and direct complaint to voltas.
Still it was not working properly, within 15-20 days of service cooling will reduce and then wates would drip from indoor unit. after one year I opted for AMC after paying hefty charges. But everytime I had to call repeatedly for service. Meanwhile AC kept troubling me and their mechanic found fault with my clinic, my cleaning, my location.
So I changed my cleaning person installed dust catching mats on floor out side the cabin and put a shoe rack for people to come in my cabin without shoes. but machine still was giving trouble. Two years passed, I built a trey under the inside unit to collect the water dripping from machine.
Then called a mechanic trained at Voltas. He found that there was fault in outdoor unit, and installation of drain pipe was wrong, so I spent more money, by now I had spent more money then cost of Ac in service and repairs. I had spoken with higher ups in voltas but nothing happened. So all those who trust TATA name, beware.
