Reproducing my mail to voltas customer care- "Please note that 2 people turned up from an agency called ASN cooling system. They had no uniform and neither does their invoice show them to be authorised representatives of Voltas. How can a Tata company work in such fashion?
We were told that they have placed order for the front grill of voltas vertis 1.5 grill ac and that it was not available with voltas. Hence they bought a front grill of a company called "ikon" saying that its the oem for voltas and that the rate is same at 2750. Thankfully, it did not fit and they left. They had taken Rs.500 as advance to buy the grill and in the end said, call charge is 350 and returned 150 after lot of haggling.
My question is as follows
Is Voltas not giving paid replacement for front grill for vertis 1.5 window a/c?
Have you stopped producing / supplying spares for this product?
Imagine our surprise to see your mail that complaint is closed, then we get your vendor coming with different company panel because voltas grill is not available expand finally leaving with our a/c being in the same position it was months ago when this ordeal with voltas service started.
Overall, very shoddy experience and the quality of the staff is also such that makes us to NEVER consider buying Voltas again. And the problem remains unresolved due to "no stock", same as another vendor of youre said 6 months back!
Please share the contact details of the head of service for voltas a/c as we intend to take this up with the service head.

Dont know about other AC companies but voltas has outsourced to people that you would be scared to let them into your home. The vendor gets the compliant closed and we need to start the fight all over again. Avoidable company and product. Its ok when nothing goes wrong, else our experience has been very bad.
